Money to spend - playing it seems,
Value it has though it doesn't seem:
Nickels + Dimes, Quarters + Cents,
A Penny as well, can it be?
Have we not left home?
Thousands and Thousands of miles away,
The currency surely can't be the same.
The value it has converting at times,
Impossible to keep a note -
of money that is being spent.
The price you see was the price you pay,
Till you came to the States you see.
Tax is everywhere - 8% -
Depending in which state you spent:
Traveller's Cheques and Foreign Bills.
Its's a game of monopoly for the whole two weeks.
Before returning to understanding,
of true value and Pounds Sterling.
