The House
The house as we first saw,
old style covered in front by trees.
Porch, chair and front door,
a standard American scene before.
Entrance around the back,
Jeep, convertable and police car.
Are all hidden from my sight.
A Harley Davidson motorbike -
locked in the garage safe and tight.
Black Honda Accord shining bright,
stood there proudly in the night.
Cases are taken from the trunk,
over the decking into the house.
Both hosts are very nice,
while showing us,
around their house.
We each have a room with all our needs,
a fan above keeps us cool.
The sky twinkles with stars above,
as we settle down until dawn arrives.
For the adventure to begin,
a week in the United States,
the state of Arkansas.
